Connect Elk to Claude Cowork

Add your personal Elk connector once, then ask Claude to save a conversation to Elk or show the work on your Elk List.

Set it up

  1. Get your personal Elk Connector URL. In Elk for Mac, open your avatar menu, choose Tweaks, and copy the URL from the Elk Connector row. If you do not have access to that app, ask your Elk workspace administrator for help getting your own connector link.
  2. Open Claude Cowork on your Windows computer. Go to Settings → Connectors, then choose Add custom connector.
  3. Add Elk. Name the connector Elk, paste your personal URL, and finish adding it. There is no separate sign-in: the URL is your credential.
  4. Use it in a Cowork conversation. Ask Claude to add this to Elk, capture this conversation to Elk, or what's on my Elk List?.

What Claude can do after you connect

Claude can capture the important substance of a conversation—its title, summary, decisions, open questions, and selected excerpts—into Elk. It can also read your open Elk actions when you ask for your List.

If the connector will not connect, copy the complete URL again. A 401 or “unauthorized” message usually means that the URL was truncated or revoked.
